Many Scars provide support, encouragement and friendship for those with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and their families & friends. We welcome people of all ages with the condition.

Run by people with MS who understand the condition and the daily challenges it brings.

Kate & Nick (Founding members) and Steve, each have MS. Lynne is also a founding member. She doesn't have MS but is Kate’s Mum and understands how it is to have a close relative with MS.

We arrange social days/evenings, events, attend MS conferences, share information about our group within the local community, support the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre Norfolk, Create Opportunities for pwms to enjoy their surroundings and visit various venues around Norfolk plus many more activities. To find out more about what we do, come along to a social event, speak to us over the phone for a confidential chat or ask your MS nurse about us.

We will even arrange to meet you in your own home or a local coffee shop or a pub if you prefer. Alternatively, if you require a video call or would just like to send an email or text to one of the team you will find the contact details below.

Nick is continuing to offer support with Welfare and Benefits. He is available to help with the completion of DWP/Job Centre + and other forms in relation to benefits. He will meet you wherever you are most comfortable, whether that's in your house or a coffee shop/pub.
Nick doesn't charge for this service but would appreciate a donation to go to Many Scars, as this helps to keep Nick up to date with current legislation and pays for specialist books and papers. It also covers any expenses like fuel for his car. Nick provides an excellent service, one that is also available from the MS Therapy Centre with Richard Leigh, specialist advisor. Nick will only see people if he has time in his diary/energy in his brain, as he has two lively children that like to zap his energy levels!

Rest assured that we are here to help!

We are planning several activities/events for this year which will be released as soon as the details have been finalised. Check our events section for further information.
